Actress Deepika Padukone is currently busy enjoying one of the best phases of her life. All set to embrace motherhood, she had set off to her babymoon in London along with her husband Ranveer Singh. Ever since the couple announced the good news through their official social media handles, speculations about the pregnancy have been running wild. From people accusing her of flaunting a fake baby bump to secretly opting for surrogacy, theories surrounding the pregnancy have been escalating.
On Tuesday early morning, Deepika and Ranveer returned to Mumbai. Twinning in black, the husband-wife duo looked radiant as they conversed among themselves. As Viral Bhayani shared the video of their return on Instagram, anonymous trolls rushed to the comment section of the post to question her on her choice of outfit and wonder why the ‘size of her baby bump’ differs every time she steps out. Tired of the constant negative comments, fans of the actress slammed the netizens. Taking to the comment section, one wrote, “Shame on some people. When Deepika wear loose clothes the haters and paid Alia bhat PR bots start saying why so loose cannot see bump. When she wears tight then say why wear tight, sharam karo and wear loose. Its proves all these comments from judgemental people are nothing but unreasonable hate for a pregnant woman.” Another wrote, “Do you sit at home and calculate the radius of her belly? Ranveer and Deepika fell in love while working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela in 2012. After dating for about 6 years they tied the knot in 2018. The couple is all set to welcome their first child in September 2024. They had taken to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post, in February, to announce their pregnancy.
On the work front, apart from Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika Padukone will also be entering Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Shakti Shetty. She will mark her entry in the cop universe with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor starrer Singham Again. On the other hand, Ranveer also has Don 3 and Shaktimaan remake in his pipeline.
